Stinky sponges.

Years ago I discovered a way to prolong the life of your kitchen sponges, kill some icky germs, and stop the sponges from stinking up the kitchen sink.

Milton soluble tablets

Once a week after I clean the kitchen I soak the sponge and the washing up brush in the sink with Milton solution for an hour or so. It kills bacteria that can live in the sponge and also makes them smell nice and clean. I abhor manky sponges, and I was replacing them way too often before I decided to try this out.
