Many, many moons ago I bought a Sunbeam Mixmaster for $36.15 at Rozelle Markets. It was grubby to say the least, covered in that peculiar sticky dust that only occurs in kitchens. It was missing the small bowl, but after months of searching I found one somewhere for a couple of dollars.
This is a 1950s model and it's still in good working order. Not that I use it very often, but it does look great on display in the kitchen! This is a model 11, one of the last of the classics considering the drastic and disastrous design changes made after the model 12. Why can't people make things as sexy as they did in the 1950s?
If it ain't broke, don't replace it with something uglier!
