One step closer to having a roof.

The framing for the second story has been completed over the last week and the timber framing for the roof went in today, and while it isn't finished, it surely is a step closer!

Looks like the start of a roof to me!
Looks tall, doesn't it. It's actually taller than I had imagined it in my head, but I guess that just means more of a view, right? I was lucky enough to climb up there the other day to have a squiz and confer with the builders about the location of a few bits and pieces. The view is expansive, gorgeous and leafy- certainly a beautiful sight to wake up to in the mornings.

The brickwork is climbing higher too, I'm hoping that the roof and walls are in place in time for our couch to arrive! The builders reckon we're on track for that, so it's all good. Every bit of progress makes me so excited, and I'm getting really pumped about being able to unleash my creative decorating monster on the interiors. Yay!

That's great you got to have a sneak peek of your lovely view!

I'm excited for the decorating part too but I'm worried we aren't going to to have any money left by then. Woe is me, lol!
