This week I discovered- Doug Up On Bourke.
Ok, alright, it's a total lie; I discovered it ages ago! But this week I took my Mum to Doug Up On Bourke so that she could discover it, so that counts. Doug Up On Bourke is the place to go in Sydney if you're hunting for anything 'vintage industrial'. I never leave empty handed!
It's not hard to lose a couple of hours exploring the huge space; with everything from industrial furniture to antique medical equipment, stuffed camels to mason jars, vintage drink crates to a crazy selection of pre-loved bird cages, kitsch signage to a barrel full of shoe lasts, the list goes on and it is an adventure to say the least!
