I started by finding some examples of traditional order of service cards so I could make sure I got everything in the right order. Once I knew what had to go on there I took to some paper with a felt tip pen and started hand-lettering the design.
My bridesmaids were worried about when they had to stand up and sit down etc during the ceremony so I built a secret code in to the design by using some vintage animal stamps so they would know what to do. I found a typewriter font that we both liked to type up the front of the card (pictured above).
I photocopied the front and back designs on to coloured cardboard and then punched out cute little heart shapes in to all four corners. The finishing touch for each card was a handmade felt love heart badge that was attached to each one with the instructions "Wear me" written on by hand. All of our guests were wearing these lovely little badges in a multitude of colours!
